SCAD X Harbor Picture Company: Week 05

As week five going through, we have continued on our works based on mentor's feedback.

Mentors' Feedback:

Be careful of showing repeating crowd card in shot 5.
Need some lens flare in shot 5 to make it brighter
Doing defocus on shot 5
Make the pattern in shot 4 more subtle
Doing a pan up from shot 2 to 3 and focusing more on shoes
Keep making the shots more practical
Ground pattern in shot 2 and 3 should spread upward on the wall
Backdrop in shot 2 and 3 should transition to next shot with wall pattern

All Virtual Production Shot are tested on stage.
In full CG shot, the material transition for curtain is added.

Tasks for the Week:

Doing Load Test on scenes, fixing bugs and settle down camera on stage.
Fixing the wall spreading pattern in shot 2 to 3

Load Test:

This Thursday we brought our scene files to the LED Volume and tested out the performance on stage, which is much better than we initially thought. Most of the elements are working great on site and in composition.

Some problems we still have:

The plank boards for talent to stand on are not parallel with the red carpet edge in our scene.
The wall spreading effect need to be fixed.
Our red carpet props are not ready yet.
We still have to figure out the way to do paparazzi effects on site.
