Mentors' Feedback:
Prioritize reshooting shot 5, adjust lighting on shoes and legs
Scale down card size on the left and adjust brightness
Flares in shot 5 are not working
Make lighting in scene and on actor more consistent
Too much bounce light on actor from the wall in shot 1a/b
Shot 1a/1b shoes need work
Straight line in shot 3 needs fixing
Knock down gold texture in shot 4
Start cleaning up the plate
Shot 2 requires stabilizing
Logo needs to be placed more prominently
Tasks for the Week:
Creating a 3D wavy curtain for comp in shot 2
Make the curtain appears in the way of dissolving pattern
Scale down some crowd cards
3D Wavy Curtain and Dissolving:
As professors suggested, we decided to do a 3D wavy curtain and comp it into the shot 2. It should also matches the dissolving pattern of backdrop.
We sourced a curtain model online (https://www.fab.com/listings/d5228a6e-5336-4669-a411-e7395614bf64), import it into karma with a simple red texture and lighting. In the material network, I imported black and white pattern animation image sequence and plug it into opacity channel and it worked.
Crowd Cards:
Based on the feedback from mentors, we adjusted size of crowd cards.
