This is the second week into the collaboration class and we started making progress with our project. We also received valuable feedbacks on our project from mentors.
Shots transitioning from model walking to posing seems disconnected.
Considering multiple poses to highlight heels
Considering other kind of red bottom rather than gold bottom
Making sure the CG heels are consistent with the real one in photos
Considering changing posing into certain kind of scenario that highlight heels(i.e. Interview).
More macro level shots.
Based on the feedback we updated the storyboard.
Updated Storyboard:

Me and Jingxing also created new Pre-Visualization:
New Pre-Vis:
Street Scene Environment Set Up:
Base on the street layout map Julian designed last week I create the scene for LED Volume.
R&D into the Transitioning Effect:
After group meeting we come to agree that the transition will be based on the wipe effect in Unreal. It came up as an idea that we can create square portal in Unreal and make it large enough. Through this method only one side of the square portal will be caught by camera lens and it will look like wiping. The portal should be done by blueprinting.
Based on the tutorial:
Portal Blueprint:

However the blueprint right now is not fully functioning. The scene capture by camera on the other side of the portal is not read by the blueprint. It still requries debugging.
Theater References:
Professor Bridget Gaynor suggested that we can add a macro shot for theater since we are changing from posing to a award ceremony scenario. Therefore we gathered references.
Here are some references I provided:
